After graduating from Douglas J Aveda Institute, I went on to apprentice, training extensively to specialize as a colorist. I love to keep up with and master new, trendy cuts and color. Recently, I attended Redken's renowned "Cut & Know Why" professional training in New York City. Though I may travel to gain knowledge and stay at the cutting edge of my profession, my home will always be here in Okemos, where I grew up. After graduating from Douglas J Aveda Institute, I decided to move to Houston, Texas where I spent three years honing my technique in Redken color, highlighting, cutting and styling, and growing a clientele that I dearly miss. I am so proud to be back, and styling hair in my hometown for the past seven years. I am a Haslett High School graduate and have been a nail technician for eight years. After graduating from Haslett, I attended Excel Acadamies where I got my Nail Tech license. I have worked in the Haslett/Okemos area for seven years building a fabulous clientele. Along with Excel Academies, I also attend LCC and am about to receive my Associates degree and will continue on to achieve a Bachelors degree.
